Hi there! My name is Carolyn, and I am a Child and Family Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor, Trainer, and Group Facilitator. I provide sensitive, caring, and confidential counselling for children, young people, and their families. I work together with your child or young person with your family.
As the adults you become co-therapists and co-facilitators of healing for your family. I seek to understand your story and to journey with you. My goal is to provide a safe environment to explore and make meaning what you and your family are experiencing and together find hope and healing.
My specialty area is working with developmental and complex relational trauma, loss and grief and traumatic grief. I am also a Bringing Up Great Kids and Rhythm2Recovery group facilitator. These programs are for parents and caregivers, families and children and young people.
With a focus on restoring safety and supporting you as a family to heal from experiences of grief, loss, and trauma, I provide a safe environment for you to talk about what you and your family are experiencing, to help express feeling and make meaning through creative ways. I understand this may take time and there is no time limit on supporting you.
Fees:
Counselling: Individuals and families
- First session (75 minutes) $150.00
- Subsequent sessions (60 minutes) $130.00
Supervision: $150.00 per hour.
