Men’s Ministry
Our Men’s Ministry has established its core mission on Hebrews 12:1-2—where we are encouraged to “run with perseverance” the race marked out before us, as we look to Jesus.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.
Our heart is to challenge and encourage one another to pursue deep, authentic relationships and to be bold men of God who are shining lights in a broken and hurting world.
We welcome all men—young, middle aged and those old enough to remember the good old days!
The Men’s Ministry recognises the need for men to make social connections with other men and to provide an opportunity for men from outside the church body to be invited along.
Hills Baptist is a community of every-day people from many life and church backgrounds, united in our shared experience of the loving grace and forgiveness that comes through Jesus Christ.
We hold regular men’s social events—from bonfire evenings to lawn bowls, a day at the river or paint-balling. The aim is to get to know each other better, as well as enjoy teaching from studies and guest speakers.
