Our Services
We are thankful to God for our church facilities, but even more thankful that it’s used for services, events, groups and programs every day of the week.
Our 9:30am Sunday gathering is a relaxed and contemporary family service attended by people of all ages. Our focus is to grow together as we hear God’s Word taught from the Bible, worshipping Him through song, prayer and life in community. We spend the first half hour of the service all together before the kids go out to their aged-based children’s program. After the service we love to spend time catching up over coffee and sharing life together.

Our 5pm Sunday gathering is very relaxed, being attended and lead mainly by young adults and high school aged youth. Worship is passionate, the preaching is biblical and relevant, and the atmosphere and sense of community is vibrant. At the end of an evening we love to spend time together over supper, either at church or in someone’s home nearby, and everyone is invited.

The vision for a church plant in Lobethal began through conversations with Hills Baptist Members who live in or near the town with a heart to see a renewal of faith in this town. A prayer group formed in 2020 and a group of people have been meeting faithfully and praying for revival in the town since then. A Steering Group was formed in early 2021 and we’ve held regular Sunday services throughout most of 2022.
